Hidrológica Venezolana HIDROVEN, the Venezuelan water works Company, has recognized AMV as a “Proveedor Aprobado Hidroven”, Hidroven approved supplier, for the production of White Solid Aluminum Sulfate. Our white, iron free, Type I aluminum sulfate is extensively used for water treatment in Hidroven’s affiliate companies.

Geographical Location

ACIDOS Y MINERALES DE VENEZUELA, C.A. (AMV), is located in the city of Puerto Ordaz, also known as Ciudad Guayana, located in the union of the Caroní and Orinoco rivers, 100 kilometers downstream of Ciudad Bolívar. Puerto Ordaz is an important industrial center with its alumina and aluminum factories, iron briquette and steel mills as well as three hydroelectric dams (Guri, Macagua and Caruachi).
